Wa$teLand

For this project, I worked together with my peer making construction and designing a joint effort. This allowed each character to get the proper attention to detail in their costumes, by communicating with each other so that cohesion was achieved. With early starts, a positive attitude was welcomed and helped me keep good relationships with the crew. Filming took us to the Zennor, Hayle, and St. Day in the middle of March, so thermal layers were essential. Most of the costumes for Wa$teLand were handmade, thrifted or pieced together with existing products, enabling us to keep to the film’s value of being eco-friendly and keeping the budget low. This ethos also made us become more creative with how we could achieve the desired look on a low budget.
